Our recommendations come from first-hand experience and contacts we’ve made all around the world, having explored more than 100 countries. Who We Are
Steve Jermanok is one of the most prolific travel writers in America. He has penned more than 2000 stories and 10 books while working as a columnist for National Geographic and The Boston Globe, and author for Lonely Planet and Frommer’s. Lisa Leavitt comes from the art world, where she worked as curator at several art museums, including the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Danforth Museum of Art in Framingham, MA. Her years as a curator has made her exceedingly detail oriented and has trained her to be highly selective when it comes to choosing quality.

Lisa was very easy to work with. She and Steve were very responsive and quickly put together an itinerary that fit our interests and inputs. When we added two people to our trip after settling on the plans, they quickly adjusted at minimal additional cost. The arrangements all went very smoothly and as described. The guides they matched us with on the trip were uniformly excellent.

Lisa is so easy to work with. She’s plans all of the details and gives us many options. She has handled our last 4 trips and each one has been exceptional. She always replies promptly to our requests and helps with any issues we may have before, and during, the trip. I would highly recommend her!

Lisa and Steve were incredibly helpful in helping me plan out the best trip to New Zealand and Australia for my wife and me. Lisa was always willing to chat on the phone, send plenty of detail over email, and even check in on text over the weekend. Lisa has gotten to know us very well over the last year and catered her recommendations accordingly, ensuring we would be able to hike and explore as much as possible and enjoy delicious food and luxurious accommodations.
