Our recommendations come from first-hand experience and contacts we’ve made all around the world, having explored more than 100 countries. We work with the finest local tour operators that will help create an authentic custom-designed travel experience. Who We Are
We are a husband-and-wife team who have been inspired by travel for most of our lives.
Steve Jermanok is one of the most prolific travel writers in America. He has penned more than 2000 stories and 10 books while working as a columnist for National Geographic and The Boston Globe, and author for Lonely Planet and Frommer’s. Steve’s contacts around the globe and global experiences allow us to give you that personalized service that makes you feel at home even in the most remote of places.
Lisa Leavitt comes from the art world, where she wore many hats at esteemed art museums including the Jewish Museum, the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Some of those hats included writing, shipping art works, and finally curating art exhibitions at the Danforth Museum of Art in Framingham, MA. Her years in the art world has made her exceedingly detail oriented and has trained her to be highly selective when it comes to choosing quality.

Lisa was very easy to work with. She and Steve were very responsive and quickly put together an itinerary that fit our interests and inputs. When we added two people to our trip after settling on the plans, they quickly adjusted at minimal additional cost. The arrangements all went very smoothly and as described. The guides they matched us with on the trip were uniformly excellent.

Lisa and Steve were incredibly helpful in helping me plan out the best trip to New Zealand and Australia for my wife and me. Lisa was always willing to chat on the phone, send plenty of detail over email, and even check in on text over the weekend. Lisa has gotten to know us very well over the last year and catered her recommendations accordingly, ensuring we would be able to hike and explore as much as possible and enjoy delicious food and luxurious accommodations.
